The following policies apply to Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC

Cancellation and Refunds

Each training offered by Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC has the following policy, unless otherwise noted, full refund, minus a $25 administration fee, is available for cancellations made up to 30 days before the scheduled workshop date. However, after this deadline, no refunds will be issued for cancellations.

To request a cancellation, please submit a written request to trisha@connectiveclinicalwellness.com.

Disability Related Accommodations and Services

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990), Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC will make reasonable adjustments or modifications to practices, policies and procedures, and to provide auxiliary aids and services for our training participants with disabilities. It is the responsibility of participants who seek disability-related accommodations and services to submit their requests in a timely manner prior to the training, despite emergencies or unexpected events that require services.

Participants may request services during the registration process. Some services may require further written medical verification that supports the medical reason for the request (e.g.., a supporting letter from their medical provider). To start this process, participants can email trisha@connectiveclinicalwellness.com to request accommodations.

Complaints and Grievances

The goal at Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC is to provide an effective learning experience for all participants. Prior to a scheduled workshop, if you have a problem with registration-related issues, e.g., issues with the registration form, payment, website, promotional materials, emails, you are expected to email Trisha Owsley, trisha@connectiveclinicalwellness.com, as soon as possible.

During a training event, the trainer responsible for conducting the training has Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC’s authority to address any concerns that arise during the actual training. Every effort will be made to address the concerns during the training to include changing practice partners, addressing staff issues, etc. If the trainer is unable to address the participant’s concerns, the complaints and grievances shall be presented in writing to Trisha Owsley, LPCC-S, owner of Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC.

During and after the training completion, complaints and grievances regarding course content, promotional or educational materials, facilitator’s behaviors, workshop site, facilities, technological resources, or any other course-related issues, shall be presented in writing to Trisha Owsley, owner of Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC.

Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC’s approach in resolving grievances is always from the perspective of what is the fairest way to resolve the matter. All complaints and grievances are reviewed within 5 working days. Formal grievances are required to be written and emailed to trisha@connectiveclinicalwellness.com and will be responded to within 10 business days.

Online Security Policy for Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC

Access Control:

  • Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC will make reasonable attempts to restrict access to participant accounts and related information, granting access only to authorized individuals.

  • Access to participant course and performance information will be maintained securely and confidentially, to help ensure that only authorized personnel have access.

Authentication and Authorization:

  • Access to online trainings, which provide continuation education credits, will be restricted to authorized users who are allowed access, as listed above.

Handling of Sensitive Information:

  • Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC will handle credit card information securely, following the most current defined security standards.

Third-Party Data Sharing:

  • Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC does not engage in any third-party data sharing. Participant information is kept confidential and is not shared with any external parties without explicit consent, except to carry duties associated with implementing the programs.

  • The participant roster will be shared with the trainer, which includes name, email, license type & number (which are all publicly available) of the participants.

Data Security Measures:

  • Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of participant information, including using encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. Regular audits and reviews of security measures will be conducted to identify and address any vulnerabilities or weaknesses.

Workshop Recording Policy

At Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC, we have established the following policy regarding training recordings:

  1. Any training that will be recorded will be clearly stated on the workshop website and registration form;

  2. Some trainings may be recorded for the purpose of developing Asynchronous Distance Learning, self-paced courses available for future purchase. If a workshop is being recorded for this purpose, that will be clearly stated during registration;

  3. The primary focus of all recordings will be on the presenter and their shared materials. Breakout room sessions will not be recorded;

  4. Participants’ video and audio will not be included in any home study content unless written permission has been given;

  5. Participants who wish to avoid being recorded are encouraged to keep microphones off during recorded portions of the session;

  6. Recorded content is intended for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial, teaching, or other training purposes;

  7. Training content, including recorded sessions, is considered confidential and should not be shared with individuals who have not participated in the training, nor recorded by a participant;

  8. While we strive for technical excellence, participants acknowledge that technical issues may occur during the recording process and Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC is not responsible for any disruptions or loss of content;

  9. Continuing Education (CE) credits are only awarded for live participation (Synchronous Distance Learning), unless the course is explicitly listed and approved as a Recorded Asynchronous Distance Learning CE course. If a course qualifies for Recorded Asynchronous Distance Learning CE credit, this will be clearly stated on the course website and registration page. Watching a recording of a live course does not qualify for CE credit unless the course has been officially listed as an Recorded Asynchronous Distance Learning offering that meets all CE requirements, which also require the successful completion of a post-course test.

By participating in our trainings, you agree to accept and adhere to the above policies regarding workshop recordings. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the success of our workshops and the integrity of our recorded content.

Connective Clinical Wellness Online Training Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct is for all individuals participating in, facilitating, or otherwise involved in online trainings organized by Connective Clinical Wellness referred to here as “Participants”.

Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC is dedicated to creating a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free virtual learning environment for everyone. We welcome all individuals but have zero tolerance for certain behaviors.

Unacceptable Behaviors Include:

  • Verbal aggression or confrontational behaviors

  • The use or display of sexually explicit imagery in shared online spaces

  • Acts of intimidation or cyber-stalking

  • Unauthorized sharing or recording of content

  • Persistent interruption or causing continuous disturbances during workshop activities

  • Unsolicited sexual advances

  • Neglecting the impact of one’s actions or words on individuals from marginalized communities

  • Difficulty in collaborating within online group settings, including resistance to engaging in constructive dialogue or repair efforts with fellow participants, despite facilitator intervention

  • Struggles to distance oneself from disruptive or aggressive behaviors, even with facilitator guidance

  • Promoting or supporting any of the behaviors listed above

Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC reserves the right to take suitable action, including removal from the event or legal steps, for violations of this Code of Conduct. No refunds will be provided.

Confidentiality Agreement for Online Trainings:

Our education programs are designed for educational advancement and are not therapy sessions. Experiences and information shared by participants during these online trainings are for learning purposes and should be considered confidential, but are not protected legally under state or federal privacy law. Participants must refrain from sharing any personal details or discussions outside the workshop environment, including with non-participants, without explicit consent from the individuals involved.

Respect for privacy extends to online breakout sessions or practice groups. Conversations about a participant’s input should stay within the confines of the training room unless permission for external discussion has been granted.

Disclosure of confidential information may become necessary if non-disclosure could lead to harm or violate ethical or legal duties. In such instances, safety and compliance with legal standards take precedence. Participants should be familiar with and adhere to the confidentiality guidelines of their respective professional and licensing bodies.

By engaging in Connective Clinical Wellness, LLC’s online trainings, Participants agree to upholding these conduct and confidentiality standards, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment for all.
